Gentleman Winder was born out of frustration. We were collectors ourselves — tired of resetting stopped watches every morning, tired of leaving expensive pieces rolling around in a drawer, and tired of choosing between overpriced luxury brands and unreliable cheap motors. We built what we couldn't find: a winder that's silent, well-made, and priced for the serious collector who doesn't need to spend £400 to get quality. Every winder we sell has been tested before it reaches you. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't carry our name.

An automatic watch relies on the motion of your wrist to stay wound. When you're not wearing it, a watch winder mimics that movement — rotating continuously at calibrated intervals to keep the mainspring tensioned. The result: your watch is always accurate, always ready to wear. No more resetting the time, date, or moon phase every time you pick it up.
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
Every Gentleman Winder comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely happy — for any reason — contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll arrange a full refund, no questions asked.
No — provided it's set correctly. Every Gentleman Winder is calibrated to rotate within the safe TPD (turns per day) range recommended by watch manufacturers. Over-winding is not possible with an automatic movement, as the mainspring disengages once fully tensioned.
Gentleman Winder works with all automatic (self-winding) movements, regardless of brand or size. It is not compatible with quartz or manual-wind watches. If you're unsure whether your watch qualifies, feel free to contact us — we're happy to advise.
