Our 30-Day Peace of Mind Guarantee
Every Gentleman's Winder is built to protect the watches you love. If the winder you received isn't right for you — for any reason — you have 30 days from the day of delivery to return it for a full refund.
No interrogations. No restocking fees. No hoops to jump through.
How to start a return
- Email contact@gentlemanwinder.com with your order number and a brief reason (optional — but helps us improve).
- We reply within 24 working hours with a prepaid return label and step-by-step instructions.
- Repack the winder in its original packaging if possible, drop it at your nearest Royal Mail branch or parcel point, and keep your tracking receipt.
Refund timeline
Once your return arrives at our warehouse, we inspect it within 48 hours. Your refund is then issued to the original payment method within 3 working days of inspection. Most customers see the funds back in their account within 5 to 10 working days of posting the return.
What's eligible for a refund
- Any winder in unused, re-sellable condition, returned within 30 days in its original packaging.
- Any winder that arrived damaged, faulty or not as described — protected under Section 19 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In that case, return postage is always on us, and we cover every cost involved.
What isn't eligible
- Winders that show clear signs of misuse, accidental damage, drops, or unauthorised modification.
- Returns sent back after the 30-day window without prior written agreement.
- Items returned without an approved return reference (please contact us first).
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your winder arrives damaged, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue. We will dispatch a replacement free of charge, or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer. Return postage is always covered by us in this case, as is your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Your statutory rights (UK customers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you also have a separate 14-day right to cancel your order from the moment of delivery, without giving any reason. Our 30-Day Peace of Mind Guarantee extends this right — it never replaces or reduces it.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange any winder for a different model within the 30-day window. Simply email us, and we will coordinate the return and dispatch of the replacement in one step.
